Dr. Daniel Allen has been in the optometry industry for over 20 years and a licensed optometrist for 10 years. Dr. Allen went to undergraduate school at the University of California, Riverside, and earned another degree at Cal Poly Pomona. He received his doctorate in optometry at Western University in Pomona.

Dr. Allen was born and raised in Southern California, near Pomona and Hacienda Heights. He is currently married and has three children ages 10, 8, and 3. He loves being active in their school lives and extra-curricular activities such as baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and Girl Scouts. Dr. Allen also enjoys traveling to different parts of Mexico and Hawaii and always staying active.

Dr. Allen is pleased to help all of his patients so that they are happy with their vision and ocular health needs. To that end, he is also fluent in Spanish and is glad to lend a hand or give a second opinion whenever needed.

Dr. Lauren Monsanto earned her Bachelor of Science degree at California State University, Fullerton with a major in Health Sciences and an emphasis on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.

During her training, Dr. Monsanto had the opportunity to work with patients at a variety of clinical sites including Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX; the Orlando VA Medical Center in Orlando, FL; the Bradenton VA Outpatient Clinic in Bradenton. FL: and the Eye Care Institute at Western University in Pomona, CA. She has also volunteered at vision screenings and health fairs, providing free eye exams and glasses to underserved populations both locally and abroad in Mexico and Guatemala.

After earning her Optometry degree. Dr. Monsanto continued on to complete a residency in Primary Eye Care with an emphasis on Ocular Disease at the San Diego VA Medical Center, through which she was able to hone her skills in treating and managing ocular conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Through her clinical training and experience. Dr. Monsanto has had the pleasure of working with a diverse array of patients from all walks of life and with varying levels of systemic and ocular health, which has helped her to provide proper care and guidance to her patients each dav, regardless of who ends up in her exam chair.

Dr. Monsanto was born and raised in north Orange County. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and their cat/fur baby, Mika.
